Your Essential Holiday Booking Conditions
2008 Holidays
Please read the following terms & conditions carefully. They apply to all holidays booked with us and deal with your rights and obligations to us and ours to you.
To confirm booking
Payment:
The total price of your holiday booked is payable. If you book more than 12 weeks before your departure date a deposit of 30% of the villa cost is payable when you book, the balance is due 12 weeks before your departure date. If you book less than 12 weeks before departure the full price of your holiday is payable at the time of booking. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Credit card payments incur a charge of 2%. Flight information must be given to Crockfords Villa Holidays within 14 days of booking.
Adult Insurance:
£17.95 upto 9 days, 2 weeks £21.22 upto 18 days includes insurance premium tax. Children 3 – 17 yrs £8.98 upto 9 days, £10.60 upto 18 days Family insurance 2 adults upto 4 children £44.83 upto 9 days, £53.05 upto 18 days, under 3 yrs free. Excess waiver available at £4.80 plus tax per adult/child which covers the loss of the first £50.00 per claim. It is a condition of booking with us that you take out travel insurance. The insurance we have arranged we believe to be adequate cover. Unless you specifically refuse it when booking, you will be automatically covered by it and the premiums will be added to the price of your arrangements you have booked. If you do not accept our insurance however you must be covered by other suitable insurance arrangements. You must provide us with the name of any alternative within 14 days of booking.
Cot hire: £40.00 per week, High chairs £15.00 per week.
Some properties can accommodate an extra person at a charge of £75.00 per week extra.

Carvoeiro - 4 people £45 each way / 8 people £70 each way per vehicle
Albufeira - 4 people £35 each way / 8 people £55 each way per vehicle
Changeover Days:
Thursday or Saturday some properties are variable
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be notified in writing
and take effect from date we receive your letter if you cancel your holiday before the final balance is due we regret that deposits are non – refundable. Please note that if your reason for cancellation is covered by your insurance policy all costs would normally be refunded by your insurance company less your insurance premium.
Liability:
Crockfords Villa Holidays shall not be liable for failure of any public service or supplies of a technical or mechanical nature connected with the holiday arrangements over which the company has no control including any unusual or unexpected circumstances beyond our control which we could not have avoided even if all possible care was used or any event which we or the supplier could not help or prevent.
Brochure accuracy:
Crockfords Villa Holidays have inspected each property, and while we have taken every effort to ensure accuracy we cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information supplied to us. It is our honest belief that all information is correct at time of going to press.
Confirmation:
Please check your confirmation invoice and any relevant documents from us as soon as you receive it. If there are any changes to be made please contact us immediately as it may not be possible to make changes later. If you amend your booking the changes may be subject to an administration charge.
Important Notice:
Compensation arrangements do not apply to circumstances beyond out control. Your holiday will be cancelled in the following circumstances, war, threat of war, riots, civil strikes or terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, bad weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.
You will require your passport and full driving licence. All children must have their own passport unless currently on their parents/guardian.
